Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Terms

1. Cancellation by the Client: If you wish to cancel your booking, the cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email or through our official communication channels. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive the cancellation request.

2. Cancellation Charges: The cancellation charges will vary depending on how close to the departure date you cancel your booking. The percentage of the tour cost to be charged as cancellation fees is as follows:

   • 30 days or more before departure: 10% of the total tour cost

   • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost

   • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (No Refund)

3. Non-Refundable Charges: Certain services, such as air tickets, visas, and other third-party bookings, may be non-refundable. These charges are outside of IndiaViewTravel’s control, and in the case of a cancellation, they will be deducted from any refundable amounts.

4. No-Show Policy: If a client fails to show up for the scheduled tour or service without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

2. Cancellation Process

2. Refunds: Any refunds applicable after cancellation will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the booking.

3. Partial Refunds: If your cancellation is subject to partial refund eligibility (based on when the cancellation occurs), it will be processed accordingly. Refunds will be made after deducting the cancellation fees and any non-refundable charges.

3. Modifications to Bookings

1. Change of Dates: If you wish to change the dates of your tour, the following terms apply:

   • If the new dates fall within the same season (subject to availability), a change fee may apply in addition to any applicable cancellation charges.

   • If the new dates are in a different season, the rates and availability for the new dates may be different, and you may need to pay the difference.

2. Change of Destination or Itinerary: If you wish to change your destination or alter the itinerary, this may be treated as a new booking, and cancellation charges will apply as per the original booking policy.

3. Modification Fees: IndiaViewTravel reserves the right to charge an additional administrative fee for processing modifications, in addition to any charges levied by service providers (such as airlines, hotels, etc.).

4. Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Circumstances)

IndiaViewTravel is not responsible for cancellations caused by unforeseen events that are beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes)

• War, political unrest, or civil disturbances

• Government travel restrictions

• Health pandemics or epidemics (such as COVID-19)

• Airline strikes or service disruptions

In such cases, we will do our best to offer alternatives or reschedule your tour. However, we will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from these circumstances.

5. Cancellation by IndiaViewTravel

IndiaViewTravel reserves the right to cancel any tour or service due to reasons such as:

• Insufficient bookings

• Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability)

• Unavailability of accommodations or transportation

In the event of a cancellation by us:

• We will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative tour/package or a full refund of the amount paid.

• If the tour is cancelled by IndiaViewTravel, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the booking, except for any non-refundable charges for services already utilized.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, loss of baggage, or other travel-related issues. Insurance is not provided by IndiaViewTravel and is the responsibility of the client.
